Keith Clauss
Professional Engineer and former CEO, SKE&C – USA / America with P&L responsibility for all US operations. Mr. Clauss has overseen more than 20 major engineering projects in more than 10 countries spanning five continents including nuclear, coal and natural gas power projects as well as refining and petrochemical projects. During his 40 plus year career he has held executive positions with Stone & Webster Engineering Corp., Foster Wheeler USA, CDI – Engineering Solutions, in addition to SK, the $150 billion South Korean conglomerate.
Dwight Rettig
Former General Counsel for National Oilwell Varco where he spent more than 20 years implementing a merger and acquisition strategy that grew the company from $750 million in revenue and less than 3,000 employees in 1999, to $22 billion in revenues and 65,000 employees in 75 countries at the time of his departure in 2015. Having completed over 250 acquisitions in the past 10 years, Mr. Rettig is uniquely qualified to lead the deal team for NBR. Mr. Rettig earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and his JD and MBA from the University of Houston.
Michael Sydow
A practicing attorney with an international reputation in the areas of structured financing and acquisitions for clients in the energy, construction, transportation, communications, healthcare and utilities industries. Mr. Sydow has successfully represented high profile clients in arbitration and litigation matters both domestically and internationally including bilateral investment treaty matters, international licensing, trademark, trade secret and intellectual property, commodities trading and regulation, securities regulation, government contracts, condemnation and appropriation, international and intermodal transportation arrangements, insurance coverage disputes, utilities and utility regulation, international torts and product liability, human rights violations, white collar criminal defense and major energy infrastructure projects.
John Hauser
Former insolvency and reorganization attorney that represented banks in complex Chapter 11 cases under the US Bankruptcy Code. Mr. Hauser has spent the past 20 years as a CFO, CRO, CEO and consultant advising middle market companies on financing, capital structuring, debt restructuring, financial operations, budgeting and forecasting. Mr. Hauser earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctor from Lewis and Clark Law School.
Jon Stone
Owner of thriving general contracting business, Mr. Stone brings construction management, logistics and supply chain expertise to NBR. He began his professional career with Andersen Consulting and now focuses his attention on venture funding and private equity investments.
